Precare/Aftercare
PRECARE
1. Please come to your service with the cleanest lashes possible. You acquire better results with clean lashes.
2. Avoid wearing mascara for at least 24hrs before your service. (Especially Waterproof stop using 2-3 days prior)
-As it can leave a residue that may prevent lashes from lifting properly.
3. Avoid using curlers at least 2 weeks before your service for optimal length of lashes for servicing.
4. Remove contact lenses before your treatment. I will provide solution and cases if needed.
5. Ensure that you do not have an eye infection or irritation of the eye area - the service WILL NOT be performed until this has cleared up.
6. If you have recently had Lasik surgery, you must wait a minimum of 6 months from the time of your procedure.
7. We can not do a Lash Lift & Tint if you currently have extensions. You must schedule a removal at least 48 hours before your appointment.
AFTERCARE
1. Do Not wet your lashes for 48 hrs after the service
2. Use a light amount of hair oil (castor, coconut, to nourish your lashes 24hrs after the treatment. Nourish your lashes at least 2-3 times a week.
- Lash lifts are a lash treatment so just like any hair treatment you nourish when your hair gets dry.
3. NO CURLERS
- They weaken/damage, chop, and kink your lashes
4. Brush through your lashes morning and night to maintain the lift
5. NO WATERPROOF!!! Do not use waterproof mascara because taking it off takes a toll on your lashes.
- Please do not use waterproof mascara it is harder to take off and can cause your lashes to mangle. You have to rub and scrub to get waterproof of which is rough on your lift.
6. Avoid hot water, steam rooms & swimming for the first 24 hours.
7. Sleep on your back or side & keep your lashes off the pillow for the first 24 hours.
-Your lashes are prone to kink/twist during the first 24 hours after the procedure.
8. Wait at least 6 weeks for your next lift & tint appointment.
9. Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes, or eyebrows immediately after the treatment.
10. If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours seek medical advice.
11. Be gentle with your lashes - no rubbing or pulling.
12. Remove eye makeup gently with non-oily remover.
13. Gently brush your lashes morning/night with a lash brush.
